Easy methods to Spruce up A Small Room With Holloween Themed Rugs And Other Pieces
Halloween only comes once a year and lots of folks enjoy redecorating their houses for the occasion. With such a small space though, what can you possibly do to liven things up? decorating options are somewhat limited, and the space can easily become cluttered even after just adding one or two pieces. You’ll soon be hosting your own Halloween theme party after solving this dilemma with just one or two smart and useful choices, even answering the door for trick-or-treaters.
Get your black ninja costumes and pirate costumes for your party. Don’t forget to} buy adult french maid costume, 70′s disco costumes.
However you should not forget about the family holiday costumes you may show off for the little ones: easter bunny costumes and santa claus suits.
Purchases that serve dual or useful purposes are the best ones. Since they take absolutely no extra space compared to the regular items they will be replacing, start with Halloween dishes and bath towels. You may have difficulty getting a Halloween version of a dish depending on the store so if this is the case, just get something in black or orange that you can arrange on the table. Matching table dressing is best paired with this. Orange dishware on a black table cloth can be a simple touch toward bringing the Halloween spirit to your small space. Similar to what you would put up during Christmas, dress your windows with orange decorative lights or something in an orange-yellow combination. You could also get fake spider web for a bit of added window dressing or hang them in one or two corners of the room you are decorating. If your walls aren’t already painted in an orange hue, you could get Halloween-themed decals or wall stickers that can stick on your walls, or front windows (decals only). Put the decals on front windows facing inward for everyone on the inside to enjoy them, particularly if you are not on ground level. If you are on the ground floor you could decide to have the decals facing outward instead since they would be easily visible to folks passing by. The final touch can be completed with a great welcome rug. From any department store you could ideally get holloween themed rugs during the season, but if you have carpeting then a bath mat will probably have to do.
Keep in mind that things can quickly get cluttered when redecorating for a smaller space so just make sure that all the walls are in a similar hue to keep with the Halloween theme while decorating just one or two of them. Avoid large items that take up too much floor space and instead opt for Halloween themed items that simply replace what you are already using. If you still prefer not to get things that are too “Halloween” then just try to infuse blacks and orange throughout your space.
